Fluval FX6 also features Smart Pump Technology for optimal filter performance. An electronic circuit board continually monitors the pump and measures impeller speed and force to ensure powerful output and efficiency. The FX6 circuit board also control's the filter's self-start and air evacuation features. The pump pauses every 12 hours to allow trapped air to escape to ensure constant efficiency.
